BAM IT! :)

Today was WI day!
Starting weight: 214.8
Weight July 28th: 202.0
Current Weigh Aug 4th: 200.2
This weeks loss: 1.8
Goal Weight: 146
Total Loss: 14.6
Weight left until Goal : 54.2
I am so glad I lost this because I am finally done with losing and gaining the same 4 pounds like I have been doing since the beginning of June.  I was kind of afraid that I wouldn't do that good because I didn't get any workouts in after Saturday because I have a cold from my late night run.  I ended up staying home from work on Monday and I kind of pigged out but luckily I made smart choices while I was doing this.
I am so excited to be going home in 2 days, I miss my family and my friends back in San Antonio a lot, I have been super homesick these past 2 months.
I probably wont update until Tuesday, since I wont be flying back to Portland until late Monday night.
Have a good week/weekend y'all!

To Workout or not to work out? that is the question!

So last night I went for a run on the track at Fort Vancouver Highschool. I only ran for about 20 min becuase I was getting really tight and my knee (with the slight tear in my LCL) was starting to bother me.  so I got about 4 activity points, was hoping for about 7 but I'll take what I can.  After working out I went to Fred Meyers (grocery store) to pick up some stuff for the recipie I was going to try out.

WW whole cheat chili mac

Ingredients

12 oz uncooked lean ground beef (with 7% fat)

1 medium onion(s), chopped

14 1/2 oz canned stewed tomatoes, Mexican-style, undrained

1 1/4 cup(s) canned tomato sauce

2 Tbsp canned green chili peppers, diced, drained
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground cumin

1 cup(s) dry whole-wheat elbow macaroni

15 oz canned kidney beans, rinsed and drained

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is browned, about 10 minutes; drain off fat. Stir in undrained stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili peppers, chili powder and cumin; bring to a boil.
  • Stir in uncooked macaroni and kidney beans. Return to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer until macaroni is tender, about 15 minutes. Yields about 1 1/4 cups per serving.
I did mine with ground turkey.  This was FABULOUS! and 1 serving is only 4 points!!

But after my run I realized it was a bad idea to go run at 8pm wearing a tank top and shorts while it had cooled and was breezy.  I am all sniffly, and my throat hurts and my whole body aches.  This is no fun :( I really want to workout today but I think that with the traveling and the wedding coming up this weekend I need to rest so that I am healthy.  :(

I am planning on going to my "Latin heat" class at the gym tomorrow.  it is LA fittness' version of Zumba.
Have a good Sunday night, y'all!
